About

Rails Endowment for Academic, Art and Athletic Development (REA3D) is the Proctor Area Educational Foundation.

REA3D was established in 1996 to support lifelong learning within Proctor School District communities. Specifically, it seeks to enable life-enriching academic, art and athletic activities which cannot rely on traditional educational funding. It reaches these goals by holding fundraising activities and dispersing funds through the award of bi-annual grants.

REA3D’s major fundraising activities include the annual ISD 704 Fall Staff Drive, bi-annual mailings, online giving options, and special events such as the REA3D by Candlelight. All direct contributions to REA3D are tax-deductible and can be made by visiting the Donate page. REA3D also offers a Leave A Legacy Initiative, which helps those considering to arrange for a REA3D gift within their estate planning.

The REA3D Board of Directors considers grant applications for up to $2,500 and awards grants twice annually, in October and January. There is also the option of applying for a “discretionary” grant outside of the stated timelines and standard award amount. You can learn more about the  REA3D grant application process by visiting the Grants page.

In a grant proposal brought forward by district superintendent Kerry Juntunen, Proctor’s district vision, “Educate, Engage, and Inspire” is  exemplified in these REA3D sponsored shirts for all members of Proctor’s Class of 2036.
